Thomas Jefferson was born on 13th April 1743 in Shadwell, Goochland County, Virginia. He was known as the “American Founding Father”, the principal author of the Declaration of Independence and the third President of the United States. After his presidency he founded the University of Virginia in 1819. He was a spokesman for democracy and the rights of the individual with worldwide influence. Jefferson was elected as the first United States Secretary of State serving under President George Washington.

Thomas Jefferson was born to father Peter Jefferson, a planter and surveyor and mother Jane Randolph. In 1745, the family moved to Tuckahoe and stayed there for about 7 years.

Marilyn Monroe was born in the Los Angeles County Hospital. She was the third child born to mother Gladys Pearl Baker. Her certificate written father Martin E. Mortensen is said to have left Gladys before Marilyn was born.

Gladys was mentally unstable and financially unable to care for the young Norma Jeane, so she placed her with foster parents Albert and Ida Bolender of Hawthorne, California. Since then young Marilyn could not settle to one foster home and fate let her move from one parents to other.

Swami Vivekananda (real name: Narendra Nath Datta) was born on 12th January 1863 in Calcutta (the Capital of British India at that time). He was an Indian Hindu monk and chief disciple of the 19th-century saint Ramakrishna Parahamhans. He took the responsibility of spreading Hinduism in India and contributed to the concept of nationalism in British India. Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of Yoga and Vedanta to the Western world.

Swami Vivekananda was born in a traditional Bengali family, to father Vishwanath Datta, who was an attorney at the Calcutta High Court and mother Bhuvaneswari Devi, a housewife. From his childhood days, he was interested in spirituality and uses to meditate before the images of Hindu deities. He was fascinated by wandering ascetics and monks.
